DNR Approves Restrictions For Manure Spreading In Eastern Wisconsin

The Wisconsin  Department of Natural Resources is taking steps to prevent manure spreading from polluting groundwater in eastern Wisconsin.  The Natural Resources Board voted Wednesday to add new restrictions on spreading across 15 counties on the state’s eastern border, including metropolitan Milwaukee.  That region is prone to manure contamination of groundwater and drinking water.
