Authorities in Winnebago County still don’t know exactly what caused a semi to leave Interstate 41 Monday night and crash through an occupied home.
An 8-month-old baby inside the home died from the injuries suffered.
No names have been released.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the 63-year-old truck driver from Little Chute suffered minor injuries.
The big rig caused significant damage as it drove through the structure before stopping.
Investigators say the truck was traveling south when it left the roadway, crossed the frontage road, and slammed into the home.
