
A group of cyclists will be stopping in Manitowoc this weekend as they look to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research.
The 30th Annual Scenic Shore Bike Tour begins in Mequon tomorrow morning (July 23nd) with the cyclists traveling 75 miles north to Manitowoc.
They will stop at UW Green Bay Manitowoc Campus and will spend the night in the Clipper City.
They will then complete their 150-mile journey by biking another 75 miles Sunday with their journey ending in Sturgeon Bay.
An estimated 1,500 riders are anticipated to participate.
In its 30 years of existence, the organization has raised over $1.5 million for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
