The outcome leaves the host Devilbears just a half-game behind the three-time defending champion Bandits in the push for the #1 seed in the playoffs.
Manager Chris Cisler’s team jumped out to 2-0 lead in the top of the first, only to see Denmark rally for 5 runs in the 2nd inning to take control.
Leading the way again offensively for Manitowoc was Earl Vorpagel, 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and Ben Coons added 2 hits including a double and an RBI.
The (8-2) Bandits can clinch the regular season title, outright, with a road victory at Casco tomorrow night (July 22nd).
