Milwaukee police are investigating the shooting death of a two-year-old girl.
The incident happened Friday morning at about 9:10 a.m.
The shooting was initially reported as a homicide.
A 33-year-old woman was taken into custody but investigators say the fatal shooting appears to have been accidental.
No names have been released.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner will do an autopsy today (July 18th).
Three children – all of them two years old – have died in Milwaukee shooting incidents since May.
