A Sunday morning garage fire in Janesville has resulted in one person being hospitalized.
Firefighters responded a little after 11:00 a.m. to a report of a detached garage that was fully engulfed.
They reportedly drove up as the fire was spreading to the nearby home, but the fire crews were able to stop the spread.
One person required hospital treatment for burns to the hands and arms.
No names have been released and the victim’s medical condition isn’t known.
Officials say gas was being siphoned out of a car while using a wet-dry vacuum when the fire started.
