Motorists in Eastern Wisconsin are continuing to feel a little bit of reprieve at the gas pump this week.
According to the AAA Gas Price website, the average price per gallon of fuel is down 12 cents in Manitowoc County compared to last week, sitting at $4.43, while Sheboygan County drivers are paying 13 cents less at the pump with an average of $4.45.
Calumet County saw a 20-cent drop to $4.27 while Outagamie County reported the biggest decline, 22 cents down to $4.21.
Brown County is down 15 cents to $4.31, the average price in Kewaunee County dropped 16 cents per gallon to $4.36, and Door County fuel costs 15 cents less per gallon averaging $4.49.
The state as a whole saw a 14-cent decline down to $4.32, while the national average is down 13 cents to $4.65.
The average price per gallon of gas in the entire seven-county area we cover is at $4.36, which is $1.39 more than it was in the second week of July last year when the average was nearing the $3 mark.
