The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled that a sex trafficking victim can argue self-defense in her murder trial.
17-year-old Chrystul Kizer says she suffered years of abuse from Nelson Volar the Third.
She shot him to death in Kenosha four years ago, set his house on fire, stealing his car and some cash.
Wednesday’s 4-3 ruling doesn’t clear Kizer from the charges but her attorneys will be allowed to make that argument at her trial.
