The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers look to improve their win streak to 7 in a row this evening in South Bend Indiana.
The Rattlers and Cubs will square off at Four Winds Field at 6:05 p.m. with Israel Puello getting the start.
He made his Timber Rattler debut last week Thursday (June 30th) where he struck out seven batters, walked one, and allowed only three hits and one run in five innings of work.
He also earned the win over the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Puello will be battling Jordan Wicks, who has started in 14 games this season so far.
He has compiled a record of 2-3 while striking out 70 batters in 56.2 innings, which is an average of about 1.25 per inning.
Both teams have started the second half of the season strong, with the Rattlers going 9-1 over the last 10 games, and the Cubs going 8-2, with one of those losses to the Rattlers on Monday.
