A Manitowoc man has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor. Officers were informed of the assault on Tuesday (July 5th).
According to the police report, the 17-year-old suspect had assaulted the child, whose name, and age were redacted on July 3rd.
The victim told police that the suspect was sitting next to her on a couch when he began to touch her in inappropriate areas.
He also removed his shorts and exposed himself to her.
The suspect also told police of a previous encounter he had with the child, whom he said consented.
He explained that over the last five years, they engaged in some sort of sexual contact an estimated 12 times, but claims that the victim consented each time.
He has been charged with 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child.
