The Manitowoc Police Department has arrested a man after he was found to be in possession of child pornography.
Officers were informed of a Dropbox account that had inappropriate content in it.
Investigators were directed to the home of a 48-year-old man after they found the IP address of the computer being used.
Officers arrested the man in his home in the 1300 block of South 15th Street.
The man admitted that he may have incidentally downloaded the videos, but claimed he tried to delete them all, but “may have missed some”.
After his story was debunked, the man admitted to downloading the video, viewing it, and deleting it.
He has been charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
