The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates Thursday night 8-7 at PNC Park.
Milwaukee scored three times in the ninth inning to make it close but still lost to the Pirates for the first time in nine meetings.
Andrew McCutchen stayed hot for the Brewers going three-for-four with a pair of doubles.
McCutchen is hitting .350 in his last 22 games after ending a 1-for-40 slump.
Starter Adrian Houser left the game in the third inning with a tight elbow. and is going on the injured list.
Corbin Burnes starts for the Brewers tonight (July 1st).
