The Langlade County Coroner’s Office says it has determined that a 73-year-old fisherman died of accidental drowning Monday night.
The name of the victim from Shawano County hasn’t been released.
A caller told authorities the man hadn’t returned from a fishing trip to a stream in the town of Wolf River.
Emergency responders found the man’s vehicle but couldn’t find him.
They searched the area all night and into the next morning.
His body was found in the water Tuesday at about 11:30 a.m.
