The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Association has named a new Lakeshore Wind Ensemble Conductor and Music Director.
Manitowoc native Jeremiah Eis takes over as Conductor for the Ensemble’s 39th concert season.
The band is already used to seeing Eis at the helm, because as part of the audition process, he directed them during their “An American Salute” concert in May.
Eis is a band teacher at St. Francis Xavier Middle School (Appleton) and an experienced educator.
He has held positions as the Director of the Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony (Concert Orchestra), Assistant Professor of Music at Silver Lake College, and Music Teacher in the Gresham School District.
