Local leaders say four members of the Appleton Boy Scout group riding an Amtrak train that derailed have sought hospital treatment for injuries.
The injuries suffered by two scouts and two adults reportedly aren’t serious.
The train slammed into a dump truck that was on the tracks Monday in north-central Missouri.
Federal investigators arrived on the scene near Mendon, Missouri Tuesday to begin work to find out the exact cause of the crash.
