It was the opportunity of a lifetime for many young football players.
The Green Bay Packers held their first NFL FLAG Regional Tournament Saturday, which included youth teams from Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
More than 3,000 people were involved, including players, coaches, and their family members.
The teams played on the Packers’ Ray Nitschke Field and in the Don Hutson Center.
The winning teams gained entry to the 2023 NFL FLAG Championships which will be held at the Pro Bowl.
They will also get $5,500 to cover travel expenses.
