The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association is holding its’ WBCA All-Star Classic later today and tomorrow at Oshkosh North High School.
Representing the lakeshore area on the North squad this weekend is 2022 Roncalli graduate Reece Stangel.
Reece is a catcher who was selected first-team all-conference in the EWC both his junior and senior years.
He was also chosen 2nd team All-District and Academic All-State.
Stangel, who will attend UW-Madison in the fall, will be at E.J. Schneider Field along with his North teammates when they play the South all-stars at 4:00 p.m.
They’re scheduled to play two more games on Saturday as will rosters of East and West all-stars comprised of the top 72 high school seniors in the state.
