The Manitowoc Bandits shut out the Algoma Guins 9-0 last night in Shoreland League baseball at Municipal Field.
Winning pitcher Lucas Mandich tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out 12 and scattering 5 hits.
Ben Coons led the offensive attack with 3 hits and an RBI, Earl Vorpagel went 2 for 3 including a double, 3 RBI, and 3 Runs scored.
AJ Dollinger was 1 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI, Carter Stebane had a Triple and Chris Casper went 1 for 3 with a Double.
The Bandits host the Casco A’s on Friday night with a 7:30 p.m. first pitch.
