Coming home did not change the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ luck, as they lost big to the Quad Cities River Bandits last night 13-5.
The Rattlers’ pitching staff gave up 13 runs on 18 hits in their sixth consecutive loss.
The Bandits scored runs in every inning except the 2nd and 3rd, forcing each pitcher off the mound after two innings or less.
At the plate, Tyler Black had a great night, going 4 for 4, knocking in a run, and scoring twice.
The problem is, no one else got more than one hit on the night.
Infielder Mike Brosseau and relief pitcher Trevor Gott played as a part of their rehab assignment but neither really made an impact.
Gott technically took the loss, but each pitcher allowed at least one run.
The Rattlers will look to turn it around today at Fox Cities Stadium.
Game 2 of their series against the Bandits will start at 6:40 p.m.
