In Semi-Pro Football Saturday, the visiting Wisconsin Ravens from the Fox Valley area defeated the Manitowoc County Mariners Saturday 24-12 in a game played at Magee School in Two Rivers.
With the win, the Ravens remain unbeaten at 6-0 and the Mariners drop to 5-2.
Highlights for the Mariners included running back Adrian Abeyta rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and wide receiver Trevor Wenig caught 6 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown covering 63 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, safety Brysen Roulette tallied 5 tackles and an interception.
Linebacker Dustin Vlies had 10 tackles and assisted on 5 others, while Damien Bullock registered 5 tackles.
The Mariners are off now until Saturday, July 9th when they travel to Winneconne to face the Fox River Raiders.
