The Farm Service Agency is now accepting applications for the County Committee Elections.
County Committees are a vital link between the farm community and FSA.
They provide an opportunity for farmers to have their opinions and ideas heard.
All eligible farmers are encouraged to participate in the election process by nominating candidates by the August 1st deadline.
To be eligible to serve on an FSA County Committee, a person must participate or cooperate in any program administered by FSA, they must be eligible to vote in the election and they must reside in one of the townships in which the election is occurring.
In Manitowoc County, those townships include Centerville, Eaton, Liberty, Meeme, Newton, Schleswig.
