In Manitowoc County, we may have heard the storm last night, and received a little bit of rain, but to the west and north of us, it was much worse.
Photos from those areas show downed tree branches along with entire trees, debris lining some streets, and even some semis tipped over on the side of highways.
This also has left many people without power, specifically in the Green Bay area.
As of early this morning, there were over 14,700 Wisconsin Public Service customers without power, which is just over 27% of the city.
Numerous cities north and to the west of Green Bay are also without power this morning as people begin to clean up.
Velp Avenue in Howard was also deemed impassable last night by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office due to downed powerlines.
Powerlines were also reportedly downed in Sheboygan as well.
