Manitowoc Public Utilities is reporting that numerous customers lost power last night during the storm.
While they did not include an exact number of affected customers, they did say that “Severe lightning damage involving feeder equipment of multiple utilities caused a sustained outage on the west side of town that lasted several hours.”
They went on to say that they were hyper-focused on staying safe as they addressed the issue, and thanked their customers for being patient as they worked to restore power.
It appears as though all outages have been fixed.
As of 8:00 this morning, WPS is still reporting a few outages in Green Bay and along the outskirts of Manitowoc.
