The online publication projected former Badgers star guard Johnny Davis going to the Indianapolis Pacers later this month in the 2022 NBA Draft as the sixth pick.
Now, the IndyStar reports the six-five All-American Davis had a pre-draft workout with the team last week.
Most expert observers feel Davis will be a lottery selection on June 23rd.
He’s coming off a sophomore season with Wisconsin that saw him score 19.7 points, take down more than eight rebounds, and dish out 2.1 assists a game.
He was a consensus first-team All-American, the Big Ten Player of the Year, and the Lute Olson National Player of the Year.
