As a part of their SLC Serves program, Silver Lake College had a morning of service yesterday. SLC teamed up with the United way of Manitowoc County to put together several service projects at places like Felician Village, the YMCA, and the Woodland Dunes Nature Center among others. Matt Goff, the Dean of SLC Works at SLC spoke to us about the program.
Tim Lindloff, Volunteer Coordinator at Felician Village, was very pleased to have a group of volunteer from SLC to help take down Christmas decorations.
SLC student athlete, Sierra Schobert, told us about why she chose to serve at Felician Village.
