The employees and staff at Manitowoc Tool and Manufacturing took part in a blood drive yesterday.
The company wanted to do its part in fixing the blood shortage the American Red Cross has been experiencing for the past couple of years.
In total, 38 units of blood were collected, which can save as many as 114 lives.
In a statement released by the local company, they state, “We are proud to be a supportive member of our community and those in it.”
Anyone who donates blood to the Red Cross by June 30th will be entered into a drawing to win a VIP trip for two to Memphis and Graceland in honor of the new movie “Elvis”.
