The trial of Markel Hogan, a Milwaukee man facing sex trafficking charges in Sheboygan County Court, will continue today. Jury selection and opening statements took place yesterday, and several witnesses for the State took the stand as well. The witnesses were one of Hogan’s alleged child victims, a witness, and a police officer. The State is expected to wrap up today, and turn things over to the defense. Hogan is facing over 40 years in prison for running a forced prostitution ring – caught after he tried picking up a 14 year old girl in broad daylight on 8th Street in Sheboygan.
