A pet food company says it will spend $55-million on a new corporate campus in Green Bay.
Carnivore Meat Company currently has offices in the I-43 Industrial Park.
It says it will build a new 220,000 square-foot corporate office and manufacturing facility on about 28 acres of land on Green Bay’s east side.
The land currently develops no tax dollars but the estimated tax revenue when the project is completed has been put at $868,000 a year, with about $356,000 going to the city.
Carnivore currently has 103 employees and the new project would add 52 more.
The company produces ultra-premium raw frozen and freeze-dried pet foods and treats.
Work should start in 30-to-60 days.
