Several area high school baseball teams will be playing for the right to go to state today.
WIAA Sectional tournament action in Division-2 finds top-seeded Denmark battling Xavier this afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
The opener at Seymour High School this morning at 10:00 a.m. pits Shawano against Notre Dame, with the two winners facing off at 4:00 p.m. for the Sectional title.
In Division-3, Kewaunee, with a 2-seed faces #1 seeded Amherst this afternoon at Crivitz, following game-1 between Stratford and Oconto.
The two winners clash for the Sectional crown. And, in the Sectional at Chilton, the host Tigers meet Lomira in a battle of two, #1 seeds at 10:00 this morning.
The second game matches Brookfield Academy and Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic at 1:00 p.m. with the championship to be settled today at 4:00 p.m.
