A road construction project in Manitowoc is going to affect two roads near the downtown section of the city.
According to Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel, crews will begin reconstructing and reconfiguring the section of Cleveland Avenue between Maritime Drive and North 3rd Street on Wednesday, meaning traffic will not be able to flow through Cleveland as usual.
Also of note, the westmost lane on the southbound side of Maritime Drive will also be closed off throughout the project.
It is estimated that the project will last throughout the month of June, and should be completed by July 1st.
