Attention want-to-be thespians, the Capitol Civic Center is offering adult classes this summer.
The program is called the “Second Chance Theater Camp” and will be held Tuesday mornings at the Jewel of the Lakeshore.
Classes begin June 21st for the seven-week program. Classes are with instructor Lisa Horohoe, who served as the Theatre Director at Howard Middle School Academy of Arts for six years.
Participants will put on a performance on August 2nd for friends and family.
The course is being offered at a cost of $150, but a $50 discount is offered to those with an AARP card.
