Ten members of the Manitowoc County Miracles Track Team recently turned in first-place finishes at the 2022 District Meet at Ashwaubenon High School.
Meet champions for the Miracles included Jordyn Culbertson and Leah Handl in the Softball Throw, Kadin Kanzelberger in the Standing Long Jump, TJ Kennedy in the Standing Long Jump and Softball Throw, and Quentin Krummel in both the 3,000 and 1500 meter Run.
Becky Kummer also placed first in the 800 meter Walk and Softball Throw, as did Mike Pribek-Standing Long Jump, Antonio Ramirez in the Shot Put and Mini ‘Jav, Maggie Remiker in the Standing Long Jump and Julia Wagner in 3-events, Shot Put, Mini ‘Jav and 50-meter Run.
Carol Grunwald said as coach of the team, “she is very proud of everyone since we’ve been shut down for two years. Grunwald added it was a beautiful day and the track team did an awesome job.”
