For the second game in a row, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ offense could not get any runners across home plate.
In front of a home crowd, the Rattlers fell to the Peoria Chiefs 4-0.
Starting Pitcher Brandon Knarr had a solid start on the mound, as he went six full innings while allowing only three hits, and struck out five batters, but did allow one run.
James Meeker came on in relief, but also gave up a run in his two innings, and closed Kent Hasler allowed two runs in the 9th, before being pulled.
The offense wasn’t quite as anemic as they were the previous game, as they did accumulate 7 hits, but couldn’t produce any runs.
The Rattlers will try to stop the bleeding tonight in game four of their six game set against Peoria.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. at Fox Cities Stadium, with Antoine Kelly slotted to start for the Rattlers.
