
A Michigan man has been arrested in Fond du Lac County after he reportedly drove the wrong way on I-41.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, dispatch received several calls at around 2:15 a.m. Thursday reporting the wrong-way driver.
Deputies arrived on the scene quickly, pulled up next to the vehicle, and tried to get him to pull over.
The 61-year-old man slowed down but did not stop as he crashed into a squad car being used as a blockade near South Hickory Street.
The man was arrested after his vehicle finally came to a stop.
Sheriff’s Deputies report that the man from Manistee Michigan registered a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit.
No injuries were reported.
