Abortion rights will be a major factor in this year’s mid-term elections.
The Marquette Law School Poll shows most Americans are weighing the issue as they pick a candidate.
Poll Director Charles Franklin says “40 percent of adults nationwide say that abortion is one of the most important issues for them — while 39 percent say it’s somewhat important and 21 percent say not very or not at all important.”
Franklin says a majority of Democrats and independents want abortion to be legal in most cases, while a majority of Republicans want it outlawed in most cases.
