Manitowoc Woman dies in Brown County Accident

Brown County Officials have released the name of the Manitowoc woman who died as a result of a traffic crash on Friday afternoon. According to reports 54 year old Yvonne Lane was not wearing her seatbelt when she ran a stop sign at County Road KK and County Highway D near the Calumet County Line. She was struck by an SUV, and ejected from the vehicle. Lane died at the scene. The 44 year old male driver of the SUV was uninjured, and deemed to not be at fault. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
