Mishicot scored 3 runs in the 2nd and 6th innings Tuesday night to win their WIAA Division-4 Regional opener over visiting Roncalli 14-3.
Ashlyn Bennin went the 7-inning distance for the Indians, allowing 3 hits and no walks with 5 strikeouts.
Jets starter Gretchen Kapic gave up 7 hits and 8 walks in 6 innings to take the loss.
Offensively, Katelyn Callahan went 1 for 3 with 3 RBI’s, and teammate Cora Nelson added a triple, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBIs.
Mishicot, now 17 and 3, is scheduled to host St. Mary Catholic Thursday for the Regional championship.
Roncalli concludes its season with a mark of 6 and 16.
