A three-run home run in the sixth inning from Tyrone Taylor proved the difference Tuesday night in San Diego as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Diego Padres 4-1.
The homer was Taylor’s fourth of the season and his third in four games. Mike Brosseau also homered in the win.
Corbin Burnes started for Milwaukee and allowed a run on five hits and struck out five.
The two teams wrap up the series this afternoon with coverage on 107.9 FM WOMT starting at 2:35 p.m.
Aaron Ashby is scheduled to start for Milwaukee against San Diego’s Yu Darvish.
