Unity of De Pere recently held its inaugural Luminary Walk to raise funds for Unity Grief and Education Center and was able to raise $30,000.
Unity is a nonprofit hospice, supportive care, nonmedical home care, and grief support organization, and its Grief and Education Center is a freestanding Center designed to support individuals and families of all ages who have experienced a death.
150 participants walked on May 6th in honor of a loved one or in support of someone grieving.
Prior to the 1.5-mile stroll, participants enjoyed pre-walk activities including music and stations to personalize their commemorative Walk t-shirts and take a selfie with family and friends.
