A Dane County Judge has given Assembly Speaker Robin Vos one last chance to avoid a contempt ruling.
Attorneys representing Vos told Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn they couldn’t compel special counsel Michael Gableman to comply with an open records request.
The judge said she found that to be unlikely. Vos hired Gableman to review the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin.
Judge Bailey-Rihn says no one has given her any evidence that Vos or Gableman have complied with the open records request.
