A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she got into a fistfight with her juvenile sister.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street Thursday morning after dispatch received a report of a physical altercation.
A 12-year-old girl spoke with the officers and explained that she was laying on her bed when her sister came in.
The 19-year-old reportedly asked about a sweatshirt the younger sister had borrowed but became enraged and began punching her.
The older sibling allegedly struck the younger sister about 10 times in the face causing some significant injuries.
The suspect told authorities that she had “lost it”.
She was arrested and is facing a charge of Physical Abuse of a Child.
