A lawsuit has been filed seeking $2.4 million from twelve Republicans who tried to cast electoral ballots for Donald Trump in 2020.
Mel Barnes, staff counsel for Law Forward, says Tuesday’s filing is seeking accountability.
Barnes says a meeting at the Wisconsin State Capitol on Decmeber 14th, 2020 violated state law.
Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman Paul Farrow calls the lawsuit “frivolous.”
Farrow says Law Forward is just trying to “resurrect a baseless story from two years ago.”
