Three teens from Sheboygan have been arrested in connection to a string of thefts in the area.
Officers with the Sheboygan Police Department were informed of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Kentucky Avenue at around 11:00 Tuesday evening.
They arrived to find a 14-year-old female, as well as two males, aged 15 and 17-years-old in a vehicle that had been reported as stolen.
The teens were arrested, and additional charges were filed after they were found to be in possession of what the SPD described as “a large amount of suspected stolen property”.
All three juveniles, whose names have not been released, were referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for a variety of theft charges.
All of the items were taken from vehicles with unlocked doors.
The Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicle doors, as this is the quickest and most effective way to deter would-be thieves.
