There was a Silver Alert issued for a very short time yesterday in Appleton.
An 80-year-old man with a known cognitive impairment had failed to return home from a walk yesterday morning, which concerned his family.
They contacted authorities, who issued the Alert at around 2:30 p.m., but canceled it 20 minutes later after the man was found.
He had gone on his walk in the area of McDonald and Grant Streets at around 9:15 a.m. and is now back home with his family.
