Ashwaubenon scored the last 5 runs of the game to rally past Manitowoc Lincoln in Boys Baseball 7-3 at Municipal Field last night.
The visiting Jaguars tied it in the 5th on a run-scoring triple and then took the lead for good an inning later on a leadoff homer that sailed over the 375 mark in center field by DH Eli Zollar.
Ashwaubenon then tacked on 3 insurance runs in the top of the 7th to earn the win, their 12th in the FRCC against only 2-losses.
Brock Peterson suffered the loss in relief for the Ships, who fell to 12-&-6 overall, 11-4 in conference.
Starter Noah Wech reached base 3 times on a single and 2 walks and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Coach Bruce Steinbecker’s ballclub is scheduled to travel to Kewaunee this afternoon before hosting Green Bay Southwest on Thursday.
