Appleton East defeated Manitowoc Lincoln 7-3 yesterday in a nonconference Girls Softball contest at the Citizen Park Youth Sports Complex.
Ships starting pitcher Lizzy Stuebs worked all 7 innings in taking the loss.
Maria Kraynek paced Lincoln offensively by going 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.
Kailee Ansorge went 3-for-4 with a run scored and 2 stolen bases.
