Shawano police say a 56-year-old food services worker was arrested at the high school Wednesday. Witnesses say the man lifted up his shirt to show the gun to a co-worker before classes had started. His name hasn’t been released. The Shawano High School Administration was notified about the gun and police were called. An investigation determined there was no threat to students or staff. Shawano police are asking the prosecutor to charge the man with possession of a firearm in a school zone, carry in a public building and obstructing an officer.
