
The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin recently awarded $500,000 in grants through their Nonprofit Access Grant Program, and a Green Bay organization was on the list.
Golden House Inc received $17,400 to purchase Chromebooks and tablets for shelter residents’ use, prepaid phones and minute cards for shelter and outreach clients to access a safe phone option, and security cameras for outreach clients to use at home.
Golden House helps victims of domestic abuse and educates the public by helping them understand the cycle of violence and the warning signs of domestic abuse.
