
The Mishicot Girls Softball team finishes the Big East Conference schedule as a league champion.
The Indians defeated Hilbert/Stockbridge 13-to-1 yesterday afternoon to wind up 10-0 in conference, 14-3 overall. Coach Dawn Shimek’s squad pounded out 13 hits, including homeruns by Kaitlyn Callahan,
Kasey Brouchoud and Kailey Tulachka to support winning pitcher Ashlyn Bennin. Tulachka led the offense by going 3-for-4 with 5 RBI’s and a run scored.
Bennin scattered 6 hits and no earned runs to go along with 6 strikeouts and no walks. The Indians have two games remaining in the regular season: today at Shawano and Monday when they host Denmark.
