
Despite giving up nine hits, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers cruised to their third win in a row.
The Appleton-based team bested the Quad Cities River Bandits in Davenport Iowa 10-2.
The Rattlers started out slow, giving up a run in the 2nd and 3rd Innings before tying it up in the 4th with a pair of runs.
They scored eight more the rest of the way, while Rattler relievers allowed only two hits and struck out six.
Second baseman Tyler Black was the hero of the day at the plate, as he pounded in 4 runs on 2 hits, while first baseman Wes Clarke hit in a pair.
The Rattlers and River Bandits will square off for game four of their six-game series tonight, again at Modern Woodman Park.
Max Lazar and Patrick Halligan will face off on the bump, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
